1)The ISU implements a penalty box just like hockey for things like time and costume violations.

2)Falls are now going to be judged on their own GOE scale. Bullets are as follows and the negative GOE is converted into positive PCS thru an unpublished process.
-Excellent Slide
-complete loss of balance
-injury
-timed to music
-non jump element
-ankle bend
-grunt or scream
-hitting the boards

3)All figure skating interviews must include a quote from Ilya Averbukh

4)ISU judges are required to pass drug tests after each event

5) Quads are no longer quads but will be refered to as double doubles and scored accordingly.

6) Any skater not old enough to drive but able to beat a senior skater will be reprimanded in the YouTube comment sections by special ISU communications group titled “Idol Enforcement and Protection” (IEP)

7) Fortnite will now be offered in the KnC area for all skaters and coaches

8) The coaches are encouraged to coach all skaters during warmups to increase safety and discourage unprepared skaters who may try to execute unsafe double doubles.

TCC is generally short for Toronto Cricket Club.

But one can understand the confusion with (1) references in other threads to "team Cricket" ; and (2) ISU's continental team competition.

The full name of the private club is actually the Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club.

But it looks like they have grown far beyond their origins as a "winter club" with diverse private facilities including aquatics, tennis, squash, croquet, lawn bowling and golf. Elite figure skating is just a part of it.

For those of us who attend or watch the streams of summer series competitions in Canada, it's always interesting to hear the announcers get that full six word name out...since Skate Canada rules require that the full name of a skater's club be read when they take the ice.

But otherwise, one generally hears it referred to as Cricket or TCC.[emoji846]

Additional bullets for falls by both partners in pairs and ice dance:
- synchronized
- unsynchronized - if each partner demonstrates different fall feature(s), judging is based on the partner with the more extreme feature(s)

After landing her last combo, with 1 minute and 30+ seconds left in her program, she does a quick change to her tigress costume and does cross-overs around the rink to the 'Circle of Life', until her four minutes is up to avoid time violations. Due to her high TES and a home boost, she still wins the competition. The Netherlands asks ISU to hold an emergency Congress meeting. The 'Highlight Distribution Rule' is passed and still limits the number of jumps that receive the backloading bonus but now imposes a 10 second maximum between the program start and the first element, between any pair of marked elements, and between the last element and ending pose.

21. At the same emergency meeting, Netherlands brings up the USB stick proposal again. However, Congress is once again deeply divided between CD's and USB's. Therefore, they compromise to go with the tried and true audio playback method, the cassette tape.

Nathan Chen thought Why should Alina have all the fun and bonus, the Cricket Club getting all the attention, to heck with the rules, I am going to backload too!!

Proceed with backloading 5 quads FS with Don Quixote to the exact same music cut as Zagitova - in tights! (even 1 quad don't count)

Getting Alina level PCS for 97!! Manage to beat Hanyu and Javier by 1 point, even only receiving max +2 +3 GOEs!!

ISU decide to change the GOE rule to + 7 GOE the year after.

Yuna Kim returns to the sport at age 30 with North Korea also cheering her on, and can beat everyone with only 4 triples ... (Okay that is for 2020 thread)

3. ISU new SOV, controversial proposals, and live streaming of Congress

The new Korean GP is named the Samsung Cup of Kim after Yuna. This annoys Rusfed, so they rename Rostelecom the Sotnikova Trophy, and the Kim vs Sotnikova battle happens all over again. Because of this GP France tries to change their name AGAIN but isu puts their foot down and gives it to Italy.

Carolina Kostner decides to reuse and prop up her sparkly green leotard she wore at the last Euros and creates a new program dedicated to Kermit the Frog going through the struggles of his gender reassignment and how he had always considered himself to be female. A possible personal attack after his rocky relationship with Miss Piggy! The music will be Rainbow Connection sung by former Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst.
