I may be wrong about what I'm including here, but I wanted to give a nod to ALL of Yuna's DIVINE choreography to Adios Nonino, but particularly the little choreography section after the 3lz-3t combination with the little kick and arm movements from 0:50-0:55 and how she literally danced a tango by herself in her step sequence from 1:50-2:20 and how it perfectly matched the music and mood of the music in that moment. Not even listening to the music you could tell exactly what kind of music and the mood of the music she was skating too just by looking at how she performed her choreography.

When Adelina did that string-pulling movement with her hands at the start of her FS at the olympics. For some reason its stuck in my brain.

Ok, let me try to explain. What I was getting at are body movements/choreography that involve minimal/no travelling across the ice and/or no continuous rotations during execution. It doesn't necessarily mean that they can't move around, but the choreography is done almost on or on the spot.
....

Thank you for explanation! I got it:2thumbs:

Does the opening to T and D's Bolero count? If I am understanding you right, then that is the iconic one for me.

The Davis and White in-place steps they do in Giselle, right before the Yankee Polka sequence.

As a sample, I picked the Skate America performance from early season, because that video provides full body length view.

It's great to see their in-placing dancing getting the audience enthusiastic and clapping along. Reminds me of their popular Strauss Waltz: https://youtu.be/xQTzbGgwDDw?t=216

I know it's a rest break, but I loved when Boyang flirted with the judges during his La Strada LP. I think that's when I became a fan because he's just so full of character.
