Anastasia "Nastia" Artyomovna Poluianova (Russian: Анастасия Артёмовна Полуянова) and Dmitry "Dima" Vladimirovich Sopot (Russian: Дмитрий Владимирович Сопот) are pair skaters who represented Russia. In July 2019, the pair split and retired from competitive skating.

Anastasia was born on 10 July 2001 in Perm, Russia.

Dmitry was born on 1 May 1998 in Tver, Russia.

They teamed up in 2017. Anastasia previously skated with Maksim Selkin and Stepan Korotkov. With Selkin she skated only one season before she teamed up with Sopot but with Korotkov she skated four seasons. During their last season (2015-16) Poluianova/Korotkov made it to the JGP Final where they placed 6th. Sopot previously skated with Ekaterina Borisova with whom he won several big international medals. They were the 2016 Youth Olympics champions, the 2015–16 JGP Final champions and the 2016 Junior Worlds bronze medalist. Sopot skated three seasons with Borisova. Before teaming up with Borisova he skated one season with Alexandra Evsyukova.

2017/2018 was Anastasia and Dmitry's first season together and they achieved good results. They won two JGP medals: silver at the JGP Belarus and bronze at the JGP Poland. They also qualified for the 2017–18 JGP Final in Nagoya, Japan, where they were 6th. They also made their senior debut at the Challenger Series competition in Tallinn Trophy where they won the bronze medal. They placed 8th at the Russian Junior Championships and 10th at the Russian Championships.

In their second season thanks to good results in the JGP circuit (silver medal in JGP Linz, Austria and fourth in JGP Ostrava, Czech Republic) they qualified for the JGP 2018-19 Final in Vancouver, Canada. Later in the season, they won silver medals at the 2019 Winter Universiade and were third at the Cup of Russia Final.

They were coached by Stanislav Morozov, Pavel Sliusarenko and Valentina Tiukova.

Their SP wasn't any good but despite the mistakes they did today at least silver is still very much in their own hands. I am sure they will do a lot better in their FS.

Well, I have to admit that I expected more. Lana05 will accuse me again of being too negative, but no point to sugar coat it, this SP was not good. Come on, guys, you can do so much better than that!!! Next year you have to move to seniors, so this year it is time to get some proper season best and some points towards the world ranking so that you can get GP events next season. Get the silver medal!

Now I see that you wasn't hacked
Seems like they heard you and got that SILVER and Nastya with Dima will probably get at senior CS because it's easier to do than in juniors

I should hope they will get some Challengers otherwise they won’t earn enough points to get GP next season. As he is aging from juniors, they need to get some decent position for the next year.

They did a good FS. For the future they should probably look into developing quad throws, because I have a feeling these SBS are the ones they are taking with them through their career.

Nastia does have an awesome running edge after the throws.

Nastya is a tall girl and does not have the stick thin Russian pair female figure. Which means that she is likely to be heavier than an average pair skater female and therefore working on quads may be much more risky for both of them. He may get shoulder injury, which is pretty common among pair males but the heavier the partner, the more risk it will be. She will be at risk of ankle or knee injury if he doesn’t throw her well and she lands badly (and throwing her well may be much harder because of her size). I don’t think it is likely they will ever get quads. Szolkovy struggled with throwing Aliona well enough because he was similar size to her. It was much easier for Massot to throw her. (And Aliona is tiny in comparison to Nastya).

Well, that wasn't great. Nastia is pretty tall and she has struggled with her jumps this season and I kind of would like to see Dima skating with a partner like Liza Zhuk who is short and can jump really well. Will have to wait and see if P/S will still be partners after this season because I don't see great prospects here.
