    Hooray for a new season.
Today there will be a broadcast of the Shizuoka fantasy on Ice show from 3pm.
Thank you so much for this We start the new season with a show today and (hopefully) seeing him get a great award tomorrow... here's to it being a great omen for lots of success, creativity, beauty and most of all fulfillment and happiness.

I mean, I'm just so happy for our ice warrior.

Once it's aired, totallynotobsessedwhywouldyouthinkweareobsessed fans will probably work it out by comparing the precise position of his IB and the exact depth of his hydroblade with the news items...

I painted this last night. Frills, flower petals, and ice crystals-and Yuzu.

This one is a digital painting, so I saved some part-way screenshots also.

Have you guys heard that Daisuke Takahashi coming back to competition? How do you think it impacts Yuzu? Does it fire him up for the Japanese Nationals?

I mean, Yuzu is always fired up for competition, but maybe it will make him even more so?
It's a crazy, crazy season ahead.

Now, it feels weird that I'm replying to you here and the other thread at the same time But, you are right he is always fired up. Good news for my wishful self is that if Daisuke gets good results at the age of 32, Yuzu will see another quad very possible

Wow still can't believe it. Dai will have a conference later today, right? I wonder whether he's aiming for good result or just wants to re-experience it. Can he get GP assignment? Maybe NHK's host pick? Wondering what's Yuzu's take on the news. Maybe they'll mention it in the interview after FaOI?

Opening, 4T fall, but revenge right away. In the Hottest Summer in the World he landed the 4T. His 'hate to lose' attitude. When he touched the ice while leaving the rink, I thought he looked a little embarrassed.

Other reports say he slid all the way to the boards but was laughing the whole time. --Like this https://twitter.com/GOEplus5agetyau/...97736106438656
Many reports also say that the revenge 4T was big and perfect and so fast. And that the cat jump after the delayed axel was more like a wild savanna cat than a house cat.

They are staying at GORGEOUS hotel I am so happy the whole cast are able to enjoy traditional Japanese style ryokan, I have never been such a beautiful hotel before. Looking at the information on its website, there are only 49 rooms so the organizer might have booked all the rooms for the skaters and staff for their privacy (therefore Yuzuru is in the photo ), but that is only my speculation. This picture reminds me of Yuzuru went sightseeing with other skaters in Nikko when he participated in THE ICE, it is really nice to see him with others outside of the rink, it warms my heart
This is making me miss Hakone. I'd never felt more relaxed in my life!
