Yes, they're a Canadian team. One of the more promising ones formed following the post-2018 Nationals carnage.

Their programs at Championnats looked very good, I thought, obviously aside from the fall. At the moment Lajoie and Lagha are the only junior ice dance team that Skate Canada has given multiple berths to in the JGP; with three more still to go, these two seem like one of the stronger candidates for a second event.

Alicia and Paul seem to be coming together nicely and have momentum for their first season with two podium finishes, silver at Minto and bronze at Championnats. They're competing in Bratislava next week.

Thanks for starting this! I might also start a new fan fest for a junior dance team that I have recently become a fan of in the next few days.

I was a fan of hers with Claudio and I'm enjoying this new pairing so far. Wishing them good luck at their first JGP.

Alicia and Paul had a very good debut today in Bratislava. They received 58.91 points and placed fourth in the RD. It would be great if they could medal tomorrow, but even if they don't step in the podium, considering that this is their first international competition, I think they can already be happy with today's performance.

Shame about the fall in the free, which I'm sure they'll be disappointed by, but on the whole they look quite good for such a new team (and since the three teams ahead of them made no mistakes, they don't have to fret about losing a podium place).

What a pity the fall. Although even if they had skated without any mistakes, they would have probably still placed fourth, but the taste of that fourth place would be completely different. Apart from this they had a really good JGP debut for such a new couple and I hope they will be sent to another JGP event.

i think that no falls, means also better PCS here because they took a long time to get back.. even the spin almost didn't happen... so i thought they would lose the spin too... they were lucky there...

it is fair to think they would not have medaled but they would have been closer... much closer which would have been encouraging.

Alicia and Paul are on the list of Ljubljana Cup (3-6 October). No info on Skata Canada website but I suppose it's only a matter of updating the webpage. I hope they will have more luck there than on their first event and are able to complete their programs without any falls.

They are 2nd after RD at Canadian Junior Nationals. Congratulations! I hope they'll keep the position and end with the silver medal.

Yes! They won silver medal, which will probably be enough to go to the Worlds. Congratulations! It was pleasure to see them so happy and satisfied in the K&C :)

They won silver medal at Bavarian Open. They had 3rd FD (86.10), but thanks to good RD result were able to keep the 2nd position. Congratulations and good luck at the Junior Worlds!
