In a new interview, confirmation that Inese Bucevica continues to coach the Browns:

And the whole interview is a good read. :)

The penultimate Q & A is my very favorite part.
But enjoyable to learn more about the Browns from all the answers.

ETA:

Just noticed that the OP does not yet have their Insta pages:

Thank you for the article!

From the article:

We also play in two Irish marching bands I [Gage] play the bagpipes and Oona plays the snare drum.

Two marching bands? Quite a commitment!

They were also second in the FD. From the vid, it looks like they are not yet in shape.

There is a not very good vid of part of their RD
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKIgj7e7w6A

Like you, I am grateful for any fancam from a club competition that is not streamed. :yay:

Thanks to YukiNieve  :thank: for all the Cheseapeake Open videos and tweets, including the partial video of the FD from the Browns, which I really enjoyed:

The description: "A partial and low-quality video just for ice-dance lovers to enjoy and cheer for the skaters." [That's all of us in this thread. :)]

The FD looks like it is going to be very, very good. I love the pair spin

That was the element that stood out to me too! I think the FD will end up being very good, it just looks very June right now - but thats ok and the fact that they have this already when they've had issues coaching the last few months speaks volumes about their talent, imo

I just stumbled upon the seemingly dormant "Gage and Oona" Facebook page. From 2014 to 2016, they had posted some very nice content.

I wonder whether the Browns are interested in Youth Olympic Games??
(My understanding is that the scheduling is not ideal.)

Of those eligible, they are the top couple from 2019 Nats who would be in contention to represent the U.S.

ETA (on Jul 15):

Don't mind me :hopelessness:  while I think about YOG a little more. The U.S. has one slot for ice dance, and USFS selection is based on NQS.
Age criteria: "Pairs/Ice Dance: To be eligible to participate in the Lausanne 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games, all male athletes must be born between 1 January 2001 and 31 December 2004 and all female athletes must be born between 1 January 2003 and 31 December 2005."

So far, Wolfkostin (born Oct. 9, 2004)/Chen (Jul 21, 2002) would be the leading contenders, followed by Oona (Sep 10, 2004)/Gage (Oct 20, 2002).

[Avonley (Nov 22, 2002) is slightly too old, and Vadym does not have citizenship.
Elizabeth Tkachenko (Feb 21, 2006)/Alexei Kiliakov (April 11, 2005) are slightly too young.]

Two coaches now listed on the updated USFS fanzone page for the Browns, which also has some new bits added to their bio.

Coach(es): Inese Bucevica, Joel Dear

Choreographer(s): Inese Bucevica, Joel Dear

https://usfigureskatingfanzone.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=114

Among the many non-skating activities for both Browns, Gage is a soccer referee.

Fun to see all the names of their five siblings.

Good luck to Oona and Gage at the Lake Placid International this week. :yay:

ETA (on Aug 2):

New URL for their 2019-20 USFS fanzone bio:

Seems to be part of a general pattern that URLs for existing 2018-19 fanzone bios are being changed for 2019-20. Not just happening with the Browns.
