Excerpt from the Original Post by The Finn
Frolova is a very promising skater and she has progressed very well this season [2018/2019]. She has already scored above 200 points at Russian Cup events and if everything goes well at the Russian Junior Nationals we might see her making her JGP debut next season.

I've just updated Anna's OP. I've added all the results, programs and as many videos as I could find (apart from the ones mentioned in the fan fest). Enjoy :)

Hope to see Anna do well in a JGPF event.

Snow Leopards rink needs her to skate well and improve their ranking.

Throughout the whole SP I was thinking "Poor girl, they make her skate on such a heavy, serious music..." Not the fan of this program at the moment, at all... it may get better in time and in a dress but... uhhhh...

Sorry about that fall that seemed to throw her off for the rest of her free skate.

Given her crying after leaving the ice, she might think her chances are gone? Seriously hope not, but overall she seemed the weakest skater these Test Skates.
Anna is one of the girls that seemed to have grown a lot since the last time we've seen her competing. Growth spurt?

She seems a lot stronger this season, which is helping with her lines but maybe she’s just adjusting. I don’t think her spot is gone. Only 9 skaters were invited and only 7 completed both segments, with both Davydov girls out with injury. Unless they add additional skaters to the sub list, she will definitely get 1 assignment. She is on the bubble for a 2nd. Depends on how she places at her first one.

What is the music for her long program?

This is what Snow Leopards chief trainer Svetlana Panova had to say about Frolova in the Test Skates:
"We kept Anya Frolova's last year’s program (LP?), because she is used to it, looks advantageous in it and conveys the image. And the skater herself likes the program, Anya said that she would not want us to change it. We agreed."
"For the short program, we chose the soundtrack from the movie "Matilda". It seems to me that music is suitable for an athlete. Anya is a lyrical and choreographic girl. We tried other variations, although I liked this music immediately, but Anya rejected our offers. Apparently, this melody is so “entered” that everything else in comparison with it loses."
"I think we were not mistaken. I watched the broadcasts of Test Skates (because I am now with the athletes at the training camp in Sochi, and the girls will also come here after Test Skates), so, Anya, in my opinion, skated with dedication. Sensually, emotionally. I had no questions regarding choreography. Could have been softer. But this is the beginning of the season. For this moment in our preparations, it's normal."

The answer to your question is “The Age of Cathedrals” or Les Temps des Cathedrales, which is a song by Bruno Pelletier from the musical Notre Dame de Paris based on the famous Victor Hugo novel.

I wonder if she will get/keep her JGP (unclear is she has one as the ISU documents say different things)

She skated clean but was a bit shaky. I think she deserves a shot, especially if Vasilieva isn’t fully recovered.

Hope so too. Vasil'yeva is in her 3rd JGP season, I'd give her spot to Anna, but perhaps CSKA needs some recognition, if only a small one. Go #TeamPanova!
