Okay, so I may be exaggerating a little, but... skating in a skimpy little dress, especially if you (I) have a lower energy routine (program? ) seems like a rather frigid experience. So what do you do to help keep warm(er) when performing?
Most skaters will wear a warm-up jacket right up until the second before they step onto the ice. From my limited experience, you'll have a lot of adrenaline running through your system and probably won't feel the cold at all when you're performing or testing. The warm-up will hopefully help you get some heat, and you can do off-ice exercises before as well to keep your temps up.
