I'd like to know what diet Buyanova recommended to Kovtun to lose 13 kg as soon as possible...

Chocolate milk for recovery.
Apparently it has the perfect mix of protein and carbohydrates.

That's just marketing for the dairy industry. There's way too much sugar in chocolate milk for it to be considered a health food by any real expert. And the majority of humans are lactose intolerant, so dairy simply can't be "the best" anything for humans if about 70% of humans get sick from it!

Not according to USFS. At least for the past 2 years, they say chocolate milk has the perfect balance of carbs and protein at skaters need for recovery.

Thing is that the US Dairy Industry and lobbying by the National Dairy Council is a huge problem in the US, making the supposed necessity for dairy artificially high.

There is alot of misinformation on the mainstream media. Not only that, each individual has his/her own nutritional needs so there is no one size fits all. An elite skate really needs a diet developed just for them. Let's just leave it at that.

I think we should also take note from recent news that current practices are not benefiting skaters in the long term. Those long standing ideas need to be changed.

I remember seeing a video where Bruno Massot said he did not have a particular diet. He is just a little careful, especially not to eat between meals.
I guess it can vary depending on the people.

He's closer to an average weight than most skaters, rather than being super-thin, so I could see that, especially with the fast metabolism that's typical of muscular men like him.
