I've just opened a thread for this promosing ice dancers from Spain. They have just debuted at the Junior Worlds and although missed the FD fo less than 1 point, they have been skating together only since last October and certainly are a couple to have an eye on over the following seasons.

Sofia previously was a single skater and is the 2017 Spanish Novice Champion. I'll try to translate the most interesting excerpts of the interviews in which she explains the switch to ice dance and how she teamed up with Linus.

Enjoy :)

Really enjoyed watching their World Junior Championships performances. I hope they continue to improve and we get to see them more and more.

I have just realized that they have their own thread. Thanks!!
This year, they were in the same situation at junior worlds, on the border for qualifying for the FD, but with better luck, they made it for a cent of a point. They ended in 18th position overall. Congrats!!
Let's gonna add their videos at junior worlds, in both cases, they made their season best:

I was sad to find out that Sofia and Linus have split up - it looks like Sofia has found a new partner. Does anyone know whether Linus has found one yet?

After not competing for two seasons, Linus now has a new partner. French skater Elise MONTANER. They will represent France.

Elise and Linus are down as substitutes for the Budapest Trophy next month.

Sofía only did one season with the partner you were referring to, Russian / Cypriot skater Nikita VITRYANYUK. She is supposed to be partnering Russian skater Alexandr GNEDIN now, but I haven't seen them on any entry lists yet.

Can't wait to see Sofía and Linus back in action with their new partners.
