Forward spin ice marks

i.e. parallel marks
I've been working on my forward scratch spin for a long while now and my ice marks look like that, but I always thought that was because I was pitched too far forward onto my toepick

I could be wrong and also if I’m seeing the same as what you’re seeing, the parallel marks mean you’re not on a clear edge.

If you’re too far forward on the toepick, you will fall or won’t be able to spin.

You could also be just slightly forward and your toepick might be lightly and barely touching the ice but enough to make a mark.
