As you probably know, Darlene Cain and Peter Cain -- Ashley's mother and father -- both are coaches of Ashley and Tim.

Darlene and Peter both were in the Kiss and Cry at National with Ashley and Tim when their FS score was announced.


So your pronoun garbling kinda/sorta makes sense. ;)
