Its quite unevident.
-Vich and variantes are fairly common in quite a few slavic countries, from Poland to Russia itself.


Then, it is unclear how close her relation is - for all it counts, her family could have spent centuries living in russia, and be ineligible for any sort of citizenship based on it. In fact, they could even have no proof.
