Is she not doing the JGP again? She'd have to commit to doing that in the near future, which unfortunately would take her out of GP consideration.

Updated with Piredda out of list, so Riabova is in the top10 alt in all cases.

For Leung, I wondered why she has not been invited to Cup of China, especially after the invitation of Chih-I Tsao, who's widely lower ranked...

Maybe I missed it but when are entries announced for Challenger series events?

They are only announced +/- 1 month before each event... So not before august for the first two events

Congrats to Koshiro and Yuhana, they fully deserve it with their results! I feel sorry for Ayaka and Mitsuki though. And I wish JSF had waited a few days with this announcement. I don't know about Ayaka, but Mitsuki is competing in Iizuka this weekend, and it must feel awful to know that no matter how you skate, someone else has just received the TBD :/

I think it just highlights the importance that JSF puts on nationals. Mitsuki didn't make it to nationals last year; I thought they might give the spot to Yuto Kishina as I've heard that he is going into seniors this year.
I agree that the timing is odd, as the last GP event I don't think anyone was expecting them to have decided this early...
