Don’t forget the amazing cantilever into a death spiral move that Lubov did in several programs while paired with Dylan. That move is magnificent all on its own with Lubov’s extreme flexibility skills, so hopefully if Charlie can’t get a decent cantilever of his own, they can at least resurrect a similar element.

For those of you who may have forgotten: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2baWYdj6rTU&t=1m57s

I became a huge fan of the team once I saw this move.

Two words - Elizaveta Tuktamysheva.

I'm probably biased, but for me you can't beat Liza doing her signature move.

I don't know who made this (except that they are definitely a GS forum member, because they used a story that I told in a competition thread on another of their posts), but they got it spot on:

You’re a cantiLOVER. :palmf:

can'tilevers - people who can't do cantilevers.

I know I should be groaning, but I just loved those puns!

I am so glad you brought up Ilia Klimkin! His cantilevers were always memorable!

And in return, here is a remastered tribute by CBS Sunday Morning to Frick and Frack on the occasion of Mr. Frick's death in 2008 at 92.

The creators of the original cantilever were amazing!!

Mr. Frick in 1979 on Holiday on Ice, still doing amazing cantilevers in his 60's.

Wow, so awesome!! Thanks for linking to those videos. It's hard for me to imagine doing a cantilever right now, let alone when I'm 60 :luv17:

Great thread. Thanks to Alexz for providing so many links.

I was a huge fan of Piper and Paul's double cantilever in their bond program.
