Can't the skaters enter themselves? I understand the fed having the power to choose who goes to Worlds when spots are limited, but for small comps like this... they shouldn't have this much power.

Even those who are training outside Japan?
Like Yuzuru & Satoko for ACI in Canada and Shoma for a competition in Switzerland? They are based there.

I read today that this ban includes those skaters whose training base is in other countries. They would not be able to represent Japan or endorsed by Japan except Nationals (or a comp in Japan like regionals/sectionals) which would lead to participating in World's. Koshiro is also in Switzerland so they would not be able to go, according to what I read today.

I don't have any source for this, but I don't think JSF will send the skaters even training in foreign countries because they like to treat all skaters equally (JMO).

This makes me emotional, Japanese gymnast, Asuka Teramoto, chose "Origin" as music piece for her last program in the floor routine.

https://www.sponichi.co.jp/sports/news/2020/07/15/kiji/20200715s00067000212000c.html

Asuka tore her Achilles' tendon in February but has been training for the competitions of this season and also aiming for Tokyo Olympics. She is a two time Olympian and two time national champion. She says she wants to end her competitive career with music of Origin and will save the program for the next season because she wants to show it at the very end. Good luck, Asuka! (I think I am going to cry when I see it because I have been watching her since she was very very young :sad21:)

That's lovely! I don't follow gymnastics, but with the story behind it, I will want to see that....

Very short news clip

Asuka says, "When I overcome the hardest time and am back to the competition (near future), I think I will be moved and might cry.", "Origin, the music Hanyu-kun has used, I want to use it and my goal is to dance in it to the fullest." :)

You guys, I overheard my very distraught aunt asking my mom for advice about a certain personal situation, so I asked her some questions about musical and aesthetic preferences to find the perfect Yuzu program to cheer her up. I sent her Origin from Helsinki, and she loved it and asked for more videos!

The Kose packaging is definitely a successful marketing strategy. It managed to make me - who typically only use either dermatologist or baby products due to sensitive skin - contemplated getting one.

His sponsors are doing everything to make Hanyu's fans part with their cash

Yuzu's sponsors are helping us to get through the long Yuzu-less time

They are stunning, I keep having to remind myself that at the minute postage to Australia is... dubious. But oh, how I want...

Dear fans,

I hope you might be able to help! I have been waiting for the right time to order the piano music for "Requiem", and it's finally back in stock at CDJapan... but very costly to ship to the US (about US$18 while the music itself is about $5.60). I found this website with an even cheaper price, but I am not sure if it is a PDF or sheet music that must go to a mailing address. I have used Google translate to make it all the way to the payment screen, but I won't pay until I know it's a PDF I can access/download. https://www.canon-score.com/scores/1243

If you know Japanese and can help or know how to get the sheet music for under $24 and can help, please let me know! Thanks!
