Good morning, thank you all for praying for me and Japan. The typhoon has passed my area but it is still in Tohoku area. It was a long day. We had a very strong typhoon a month ago and its speed was fast, but this time typhoon itself covers wide range of Eastern Japan and we had to endure long time until it had gone. We had heavy rain for a whole day mixed with strong wind, and one time we felt our house shaking hard and thought it was because of the storm, but actually it was the earthquake 
Honestly I was more like mad than frustrated then. Now I am looking at the aftermath in the morning news and some rivers flooding and houses are in the water, I expect the reports of landslides to come. Thousands of homes have no electricity.
Today we are going to clean up our area and check if my house is fine. In another typhoon, my neighbor brought us a part of the roof of my house which we had not noticed it was blew off. I hope the country will be ok soon but it will be difficult.
Sorry for the off topic. I want to see Yuzuru's smiles, please Skate Canada comes faster

I'm seeing a lot of damage on TV down south however and the flooding looks extensive. Continue to stay safe, all our posters from Japan.

On Figurepedia today was broadcast some new (not seen before) footage of Yuzu training with David Wilson, trying on his new costume, and remarking that now his chest muscles are bigger!

It is a great news that he is able to skate clean Origin with 4Lz already. Also is this the first time for us to see him doing "kaatsu training" off the ice? "kaatsu training" is known to Japanese public and was once very popular as a way to gain muscles, some people also do it for healthy dieting. I was amazed at his body core again, to see that one routine he was getting down on all fours(three?).

Indeed! I watch and re-watch Yuzu's career and especially the Olympic years. It's the stuff of movies...I'd like to see a well made manga or anime made from Yuzu's life one day.

Haha, I once watched Olympic Seimei on my phone in the middle of a crowded grocery store to see if the possibility of random strangers noticing was enough to keep me from getting misty. No such luck. Every. Time.

I still have not received my Hanyu DVDs because HMV mistake my order and delivered the wrong products :sad21: and I am still trying to resolve the issue. I'm so sad, I ordered online from Japan for many years now and this is the first time it had happened, and at a time when I already cannot wait to watch something!

Today I did a painting of Yuzu in ink and watercolor (nothing new there 
) But I thought some might be interested in seeing the painting built from scratch. So this time, I recorded the paper as I was painting. This may amuse you as we all wait for Yuzu's next real appearance.

Despite lots of paddy fields were completely flooded by the huge typhoon, the Yuzuru crops field art is reported to be safe! The water level stopped just outside of where the field art is - it managed to survive the typhoon and not get destroyed!

The sakura tree planted in Hanyu's honour is also safe apparently. So mother nature had been trying to protect all the things related to Yuzu too :yes:
