You're braver than I am, I will probably stay up (it starts late here, but not wee hours of the morning) and then hide for the oh so long minutes he's on the ice...

Anyway, thank you for the updates guys! I usually take day off when it comes to Yuzuru's competitions, but I can't do that this season. But it's Friday night finally and I'm going to stay home for watching NHK during this weekend :)

Well, it's 5 in the morning, and I'm here in my PJs with my cat on my lap, still half-asleep. How half-asleep? I turned on NBC Gold, heard them introducing the first group, and thought, "Oh, hey, Japanese! I'll be able to understand the commentary!" Uh... what language were you expecting at the NHK Trophy, brain!? :laugh:

My cat, on the other hand, woke up quickly and is very happy that I'm up earlier than usual and not leaving for work right away, thus will probably demand cuddles the whole time.

GOOOOOOO, YUZU!!!!

Phew, he did it! Happy he was able to keep a calm head and get his level 4 step sequence but sort of surprised that wasn’t even a SB by a little over Skate Canada.

It was wonderful - I thought maybe he was a little less carefree which given the last couple of years and how important Japan is to him is understandable - but hey, he's what, 18 points clear of the field and still well above all other SP scores so far this year...

Now I can relax for five minutes... and then start fretting about the free.

I actually thought the step sequence was the best here, though I thought he seemed a tad nervous at the beginning but I’m really impressed that he held it all together!

Congratulations to Yuzuru! So glad he delivered in front of home crowd, he must be quite pleased although knowing him he will probably say it was not his best [emoji6]

Am I the only one who haven't watch Yuzu World 2019 performances?
I love him soooooooooooooooo much I cannot bear to watch it.
I don't like seeing him lose. Silver doesnt suit him

Thank God he is such a reliable and amazing skater.
In a season where all my favorites are flopping left and right... Yuzu remains a saving grace.
I realized that I am ok with my other favorites losing every now and then except for Yuzuru.
Also why is Yuzuru's thread here only has 66 pages?
Why does Samarin and his shaky landing gets +5 GOE yet Yuzu only get +4/+3

If you go to the first post you can see all the previous seasons have their own thread. Yuzu’s thread was too long for the site.
