She skated so beautifully and memorably. I loved how happy she was in the kiss and cry.

Wondering if Igor S, Gorsha, or Elena Krikanova (Evgeni Platov's partner as Jr World champs) are in the Russian All-Stars number. I was blessed as an adult beginning dancer to have had a lesson from all three and learned so much that my US teachers tried to tell me was wrong...

Thanks for this, i wondered if someone was actually successful with a Cleopatra program. Osmond's program was bad. Miki Ando's is the same. I like the most Phaneuf because of the vibe, the music and Tuktamysheva because of the "image" (but her program is so empty...).

I hope Alina will get something more like Anna Shcherbakova 2015 LP https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mrl8Zvw5Rf4 - no over the top egyptian hands, lovely music and costume. I don't expect some "real" representation of Cleoptra, rehabilitating her image is not Alina's, Daniil's or Eteri's job or goal. I just wish for a captivating program!:pray:

It isn't cleopatra but this one by Oksana Bauil is set to 'The feeling begins', which they'll be using in Alina's program.

Alina's EX with the candle reminded me of this actually, wonder if a similar feeling to this was what they were going for.

I would like to ban the use of Cleopatra Hands from all skating, especially those programs that are vaguely Indian or Oriental (a term I am using deliberately in this case), and have absolutely no historical or even logical connection to Cleopatra in any way, shape, or form.

Or maybe not. I can use the laughs.
