I thought about suggesting that, because I love Aliona, but I hate 'Twilight' with all my heart.
I can recommend her 'Adios Nonino'. It's her competitive program, but it's better under show lights. https://youtu.be/buyVYvN0flQ

YES. I still find that clip spectacularly beautiful, and Alyona in all black makes there are no visual distraction, one can only be absorbed by her skating.
Plus there is that magical close up with her eyes at the start and end, those are true Angel Eyes :)

Good to see this clip is still available, most of ISU clips have been struck down.

After watching some of these videos I have to say - any time Stephan Lambiel steps on the ice is a monumental moment and something to be remembered. just like about anything Kurt Browning skated to in Stars on Ice.

Hey, if we are bringing in ice shows, there is Yuzuru's recent Masquerades (though not if an audience going bonkers with excitement annoys you, because they all did. However, people have done musicvids which overlay the music. The first one at Makuhari has already vanished from youtube, but Sendai with the home town crowd is still up). And Crystal Memories, which might be his gala next year, he already said Masquerade is too emotionally intense and draining.

Generally, i find gala programs to be better when there are more skaters involved. I think pair and ice dance medalists have more interesting gala programs in general. Anissina and Peizerat 'Susanna' is when i fell in love with figure skating the first time (as a child). Another French - Pechalat/Bourzat 'People are strange' is one of the best gala program in recent years for me. Also, i recently found Grischuk/Platov 1998 Olympics gala (never watched it before), i was tottaly blown away by their skating/performance/elements abilities in that Gala.

I interpret “galas” as exhibitions, so yes, ice shows should count.

So here we go ;). To my favorites mentioned already above, I'd add those:

Stephane Lambiel, My body is a cage, here is performance in Seul 2012, but I love this practice also (and the bonus:laugh:).

Mao Asada, Carolina Kostner, Tessa Virtue, Tatiana Volozhar, Maxim Trankov, Stephane Lambiel (and his students), Scott Moir, Daisuke Takahashi (hope I listed them all...) in absolutely stunning Le Poème at Ice Legends 2016 with Katia Buniatishvili piano live music.

Daisuke Takahashi and Stephane Lambiel, Anthem at Christmas on Ice 2016.

Stephane Lambiel and Deniss Vasiljevs, Nocturne (2019 Music on Ice) and their previous cooperation, Four Seasons (2017 Art on Ice).

And for dessert: Tatsuki Machida and his 8-minutes long Bolero as a farewell to his skating career.
