I have been following him for a few years already, after I found him as a young little cousin of Elizabeta Nugumanova. Their natural musicality and softness of the style must run in the family! So excited to see what kind of impact he will cast in his debut season. Udachi Andrusha!

Agree! He has such a talent in musicality and interpretation of the music. He has incredible spins as well as Liza and both are a joy to watch! I hope he will get the recognition he deserves this season. Waiting for the world to discover how talented he is

Poor kiddo stepped out of his 3Lz and missed his combo putting him in 9th place with 62.10 [emoji24] such a shame because everything else was going so well. He by far has the best performance quality though and Ted Barton had some wonderful feedback to say. I wish him the best of luck for the FS and that he stays strong and does his best 🤞🏼

I had to go out last evening but I saw the score and my heart dropped :sad21: but the PCS suggested that he fought well and throughout... I can't find a video of it, has anyone found it??? I would also love to hear Ted's encouraging commentary :luv17:

Here it is!!! Thank you, thank you Ted. Your comment... is... everything. Let's hope the little fighter will pick himself up and deliver at the free skate!

How's this thread so empty?

This guy is the one to watch: amazing posture, skating skills, spins, performance qualities, he has the potential to get very high components and he's only 13.

Overall this was a good debut all things considered (it could have been silver with a better SP), finishing on the podium was key to get that second spot.

Maybe because it was started a few days ago....

I like the way he dance to the music ... I think he deserved better GOE because it's true that his jumps are easier compare com 3A or 4 but they are perfect ... and maybe better PCS

Is he learning 3A or some 4? Or maybe he will be a jason brown of russia?

He is only 13. It's only at Sambo70 that all 13 year olds are supposed to jump 3As and quads. It is better to develop jumping skills more slowly as his structures grow stronger. Give him time.

Whoah, his SP was a riot. I saw that he placed 3rd after free, so I can’t wait to get to his free as I am catching up :)

What a natural performer and charmer.:agree: that cannot be taught, and is wonderful to see. Jumps, if they come, will come in time.

And any skater being “the Jason Brown” of any country is high praise indeed:thumbsup:

He’s learning 3A. He attempted it at test skates, << fall and < step out. He landed it with << in an exhibition of his new SP about a month ago. Remember he’s only 13 so he has plenty of time to work and get that rotation [emoji1373]

He's so incredible - it's not just the performance, but his body movement, dancing, very detail is there, including lovely hands. The spins are fab too.

What a delight he is! I sincerely hope he passes the next 5-7 years of growing up without too many problems and is good enough to get the technical content to really make it to the top in the seniors!
