Compared to many past events, I found it quite difficult to pick ice dance here, other than the gold medalist. You've got three bronze medalists from previous JGPs and a team that barely missed a medal after performances that had a number of errors, as well as a few other wildcard teams debuting.

Men's is also quite a difficult call.

No kidding. I couldn't decide what to predict in the men's field so I just went with my heart. But, then ice dance was so hard because I don't really feel attached to any of these teams. Other than the Georgians who seem to be a lock for gold ( and whose free dance, I love) . It is impossible to predict because there are a huge number of couples who have personal bests within a few points of each other. I have done terrible in these predictions this season. I am sure that this competition is not going to reverse the trend
