I would like to start a thread that recognizes the great coaches, the legends and the memorable ones that have features on youtube. Please add any links to profiles if you have them so others can learn why these coaches are so special.

To start here is a feature on Coaches Behind the Scenes

Alexei Mishin - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkVSC23Lj94
Bin Yao - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QxWbKUw8is
Brian Orser - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=euuKyj4RuAE
Carlo Fassi - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8eZl9HLMMeo
Gus Lussi - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rxNN2XgDLkU
Marina Zoueva - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hYqsZVXpm0
Nikolai Morozov - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xx4cNd1pDBA
Rafael Arutyunyan - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAdv_Gc5wr8
Tatiana Tarasove - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iR-sfdlQWNU
Tom Zakrajsek -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfVVqob7eMc

I have not included everyone just enough to get me started. Too many features to choose from on Eteri Tuberitze so someone please suggest the best and shortest one. I am seeking features if they exist on John Nicks, Petra Burka, Tamara Moskvina, Brian Orser, Frank Carroll and Aleksei Mishin...

If Zueva is going to be included, then Spielband should be as well.

I can't find youtube feature for Igor Shpilband. I'd love to include him - i took lessons from him when he first started teaching in the US. I am trying to see if anyone knows of any profiles.

When I attended Skate America in 2014, I saw Frank Carroll, Alexei Mishin, Tatiana Tarasova and Tamara Moskvina. It was more exciting than seeing the skaters.

How about Osborne Colson?

Do you know of a feature? I remember bits and pieces of Toller Cranston talking about Karen Preston as his student and later a junior Patrick Chan on CBC.I was hoping someone knew of a feature ont the coach.

Oh and I remember Ted Reynolds calling him Osborn Codson, and Toller Cranston interrupted him having a small fit correcting Codson to Colson! It is from Karen Preston 1989 Worlds FS which i have a bad copy of, but is not found on YouTube anywhere.

On Osborne Colson,
there is this from Kury Browning's Ice Legends:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tPJiIUVtSs&list=PLSzlxX1hPBN7s8Qim51jGTlVSm4BrvMQT
where Patrick Chan is saying Thank you Mr Colson

There is also this though it is more on him as a skater
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPyhhf6pinY

This piece by Bev Smith gives quite a lot of him in his influence on Chan

THere's also quite a lot on him in Don LAws: THe lLife of a Figure Skating Coach which you can find on google books

I personally fully agree with TUT being legendary but to count it properly she created only 2 OGMs and 2 silvers.
Say having five champions would definitely put her in the platoon.

I am not keeping score by medals or number of skaters. I am simply recognizing coaches of memorable and important skaters for their excellence. Eteri has contributed many skaters that fit this criteria. Perhaps you have a nice feature on Eteri to contribute to my list?

I think we can say she started ladies quad revolution. I think that counts.
