I have to admit, I owe my love of fs to V/M. Coming from a country where coverage is extremely limited I always thought of it as a Winter Olympics thing (silly, I know). I love the Olympics and try to make an effort to watch as much as I can when its on. In 2018 I had it on in the background while I was tidying but for some reason stopped when the team SD was on - V/Ms Sympathy for the Devil blew me away, I thought it was one of the coolest things I'd ever seen! I promptly searched them on YouTube and watched everything I could find. Once I ran out of V/M videos I ended up watching everyone else and watched Worlds and Junior Worlds. After that I was hooked! I was halfway through studying for my post-grad and hating it, so I guess figure skating became my way to escape it. I really don't think I could choose a favourite but here are some I guess:

Ironic that my favourite FD from them are the ones where they didn't win the title, except Mahler duh:
2008
2011
2013

In terms of SD I think Prince, Dream a Little Dream of Me and Farrucas, are perfect programmes!

Thanks Tessa and Scott!

I had forgotten the Dream a Little dream of Me program. Thank you so much for the link! Genius, sheer genius. Their feel for music and mood is just unparalleled. One thing that I loved about them was that they were still enough of the previous ice dance generation where skating close together was of paramount importance, and they carried that throughout their career. That isn't so vital today, and you can see it in the ice dancing now. I think a little something's been lost there, though I still love ice dance and a lot of today's teams.
