I did manage to use the Wayback Machine to get his fskate.ru profile: https://web.archive.org/web/20190924112724/https://fskate.ru/skaters/4745.html but Google Translate is letting me down and I can't quite make sense of his results.

Kirill competed at the 2020 Russian Junior Nationals and finished 9th overall.

SP - https://youtu.be/KnCeesQ1ek0?t=1380 - To Carmina Burana - big music for such a small kid, but I think he really nailed it! He finished in 12th place in this segment.

FS - https://youtu.be/Z5yXcahFC9c?t=4065 - To Aranjuez - he finished 8th in this segment, which is pretty impressive for a 13 year old who doesn't do a 3A yet and no quads.

2020-2021 Season

Kirill's kept both his programs for the 2020-2021 season, which is fine with me, because they're awesome :)

He recently came 4th overall at Stage 2 of the Russian Cup in the Junior Men. He came 3rd in the SP portion and 6th in FS portion - the SP was boss - he did a 3A! The landing was messy, but it didn't fall, so go him!

From the past

I did manage to dig up this video on YouTube of Kirill competing in the free skate of the Advance Novice Russian Championships 2018

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkYXpt5gTCY&t=50s - Look at that sailor inspired outfit! Although they certainly threw a lot of pieces of music into that program. He finished 5th in the competition. (Danill Samsonov was also there - he came first ;) )

Very happy to see that Kirill has a thread~he's so cute.

He is! I was super impressed by his skating as I said, he's got real presence. Carmina Burana is not the sort of music one associates with junior skaters, but he nailed it.

One to keep an eye on.

Kirill participated at the Russian Cup Final in Junior Men this week.

SP - https://youtu.be/dBKGG9haS3U?t=4194 - Carmina Burana strikes again! A very confident skate indeed! Loving the last combo there, nicely done!

FS - https://youtu.be/9mdPZhzhUkA?t=2694 - Aranjuez - This was amazing! He came 6th in the segment, once again despite only having a 2A! Bosss! :cheer:

He finished 6th overall actually :) Congratulations, Kirill!

He also had a fun day sightseeing in Veliky Novgorod:

What I make out of his fskate.ru record with the help of
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_Russian_Figure_Skating_Championships

Btw, all linked words on fskate.ru were in black, just like unlinked words. So click on stuff. The event descriptions are there.

The Russians have different designations for skaters below Juniors than in the US. Boys (and girls) have an age component (older and younger) and a skill component (1 or 2 - Roughly equivalent to Adv. Novice and Basic Novice, I think). The competitions have an elements section as well as SP and FS, so the scores appear confusingly high.

At some point, he will have a bio on this list

https://allskaters.info/skaters/с/

His name is there, but the bio is not done yet.

Happy 14th Birthday Kirill! :hb:

I'd totally forgotten it was his birthday despite starting this thread, so it's a good thing I check Instagram.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CCHDtP9JLna - That's one epic cake!

https://www.instagram.com/p/CCFvHKFJHOZ - Some lovely fan art.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CCGf_5gKQ-s - Birthday wishes from the Academy.

There's more in his stories.

Kirill is currently with the Angels of Plush at the big camp.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CBi0L0pp-Sm - Running in the rain

Hanging with Sasha T - https://www.instagram.com/p/CBicLitJFkZ

And his dog - https://www.instagram.com/p/CBsttowp_iw

Celebrating Sasha's birthday last week with the rest of the Angels - https://www.instagram.com/p/CB0Vc6jJenf

Alas I can't find any videos of on ice training, perhaps Team Russia is keeping it on the down low.

I wonder if Kirill will get any JGP events or is he still a novice? All these categories confuse me!

Alas I missed Kirill's test skates (the FS by literally minutes too!), but I have to drop this link to said FS:

https://www.instagram.com/tv/CEFF27Oq_9i - OMG, I love it! The music, the Plushy armography, the Beillman spin, the Winnie the Pooh tissue Box Cover!!

I stan.

As it's after midnight I have to head off, hopefully I can find a video of the SP and a better one of the FS.

Go, Kirill! :cheer:

Hello!

No, I didn't forget Kirill, but I did get busy and then my computer needed to install updates and it took what seemed like forever to load them up and then I couldn't find a separate video so had to locate him on the stream. Here he is though!

SP: https://youtu.be/lPGI_Uh9yl8?t=2548 - Now admittedly, due to a famous Australian beer ad I have so much trouble taking Carmina Burina seriously, but I love Kirill's intense face and the footwork  Shame about the fall, but the 3A is still new to him. I look forward to seeing his costume for it.

FS: https://youtu.be/YksvpQFt58c?t=2975 - I'm totally on board with this program! I love the eye contact with the judges and the landings on some of the jumps, smooooth. Once again I wait on the costume with anticipation!

See you all around next time.

Exciting news everyone! Kirill is competing at the Moscow Junior Championships this week.

I managed to catch his SP, he didn't have a new costume alas...but the program was epic! He did the 3A and nailed the step sequence and currently sits in 3rd, just a little over a point behind fellow Academy student Artem K!

Fingers crossed for the FS :cheer:

ETA: with much thanks to ntnext over at the Russian Men's Thread here's a link to Kirill's SP - https://youtu.be/eoGHRIdCdEs

Point of great interest, Kirill actually scored the highest tech of the day by 0.32 which honestly makes me grin. Let's hear it for Kirill again :yahoo:

Hello fellow Kirill fans!
It seems my last post about how Kirill went in his FS in the Junior Moscow Championships didn't go through. How rude!

I went looking in the thread but alas I can't find where he finished, he did fall on his 3A in the free, so maybe he ended up 5th?

However! We will be seeing Kirill very soon in the second stage of the Russia Cup.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CGPID5NpXcI - Here he is with Dmitri M getting ready :) I'm very excited and have my fingers crossed for him!

Also...here's Kirill and some other boys having a ball at training :laugh2: : https://www.instagram.com/p/CER-deeoUu7

I'll see myself out ;)

He is really fast. Most juniors could not do Carmina Burana justice.

I know! I'm so impressed by him. It helps that he reminds me of BB!Plushy, who despite popping a while lot of jumps in his Don Quixote program at his first Junior Worlds (and coming 6th) just owned it.

Plus Kirill's step sequences remind me of the good ol' days

Once again Kirill came 4th overall at the Fourth Stage of the Russian Cup, which I'm pretty sure means a trip to Junior Nats! 😊

Here he is being epic to Aranjuez

https://www.instagram.com/tv/CHf0GxqKC5c - Here's the congratulatory post from the Academy (the video is the same)

https://www.instagram.com/p/CHafrCnJ_vm - It looks like Kirill and Sofia Muraveva travelled to Kazan together :)

https://www.instagram.com/p/CHf6AjNpGrR - After the competition (for some reason Sofia M couldn't compete in the free which is a shame :(

Other Kirill content:

https://www.instagram.com/p/CHSE-vPJUSU - Meeting the great Javi Fernandez! 🥰

https://www.instagram.com/p/CHH4dI5p7Fg - Wishing Plushy a Happy Birthday back on 3rd November.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CGPID5NpXcI - Back at Stage II with Dima M - I just love the Pooh Tissue Box Cover

https://www.instagram.com/p/CHUzyD2pHoj - Playing hockey on the new rink at the Academy!

Right better wrap this up. See you all next time.

I believe he was coached by Davidov in 2018/2019 season. Last season he has been trained at Plush Academy

Oh yeah, you're right. I can't count obviously :laugh2: I'll fix it.

Super exciting news fellow Kirill fans!!

https://www.instagram.com/p/CHsk7LqJY25 - Kirill's learning quad salchows! How adorable is his little "Yes!" 🥰

Very cool! I wonder how long he's been working on it and when we might see it in a program.
