What should I watch?

Between work, family life, and the recent retirements of a lot of my favourites with none so far having replaced them, I have missed a lot of this season. What programmes should I watch (if I can find them) to try to catch up on the season and get reinvigorated with the sport again?

Watch the 2019 Denkova-Staviski Cup if you can find the streams. So many talented skaters competed there! Probably my favourite competition of the season.

You can always check out Skate Canada and NKH with GPF and see if you like someone new—they are fairly short competitions and this year all available on YouTube... I thought GPF was pretty cool save for Boikova/Kozlovskii troubles. Dunno if you like pairs, tho. Both world championships are coming, so that’s another chance to see a lot of new faces.

I don't know what disciplines you follow, but SC was the best GP of the season. CoC and NHK also had quite some great performances. And as ladybee said, 4CC men's SP was mind-blowingly good. Was there live, can confirm.

As for my personal recommendations... it's gonna be long, wait a sec

Edit: found my comment on ruffledgrouse's thread to help me, here goes. For the sake of brevity I'll just name the skater and the program. Best performance also if I can place it.

- Lee Haein, FS (JGPF or Korean Nats)

- Artur Danielian, SP
- Tanaka Keiji, SP & FS (US Classic)
- Christopher Caluza, SP

- Michal Brezina, SP (Euros)
- Nathan Chen, FS (GPF)

Pairs

- Sui/Han FS (while I'm tempted to say 2019 Worlds, CoC)
- Boikova/Kozlovskii SP & FS (CoR or RusNats)

Me three for the men’s SP at 4CC. From the 13th skater (Donovan Carrillo) “onwards”, each and every skate one of quality.
The best comp of the season:agree:

US men’s Nationals is a good second, and I have a soft sport for the SP there to because Andrew T. *finally* slayed. :)
