One thing I like to do is travel the west on my bikes visiting geographical sites....tomorrow, I am going here....the scablands of WA. (OK, I LIVE here but there are some really interesting features a bit west)

Turns out the same mechanism that made the scablands made the English Channel.

Anyone else like to travel to geographic areas? Helps to get books before going...I think I have my copy of "Roadside Geology of Washington " somewhere. One can easily combine archeology, History, and geology out here.
