I can't see the stress on them easing off? Hope you're right, though.

Now we don't even know when they'll be able to skate, when the next competition is going to be. Maybe somebody even won't continue skating. Is it bad? I don't know. For example, Tatiana Tarasova didn't manage to become famous as a skater, but she became a famous coach.
I don't know what's going to be.
I don't enjoy expecting that things are going to be worse, and worse, and worse. :)

Sorry, but this is very funny. Rozanov spent only 2 years in the group and couldn't change anyone's technique, which was laid in their childhood. And Trusova with Shcherbakova jumped quads in training in the spring of 2017. And Zagitova has a very good jumping technique.
Only 2 years? You would think it was at least five years where the way people are talkin how young Sergei did so much Eteris group.
We don't really have to digress that far. Sasha herself gave a remarkably sincere answer some time ago.

Such a warm and adorable and likeable ivideo with sasha. But I guess she's saying she doesn't have friends. I just think there's been too much pressure on her including from family. Her little brother even said a year ago Sasha was going to tear everyone apart as a senior. Sasha thought that was going to happen too. I think Sasha had an outstanding senior debut season and should be building on that. It sure will be fascinating to see what she does at her new Academy in her new surroundings with a lot less competition to train with.

Sorry, I think I inadvertently worded it to confuse you. When I said 'it's going to get worse' I was talking about the stress, not necessarily the competitions, anyone's skating etc. And pretty much every skater agrees that heading for the big and biggest competitions ramps up the tension whether you are considered a shoe-in or no hope.

Which, when you think about it, may be one thing Trusova wil benefit from in the move, because if anyone has been proven to absolutely thrive on added stress, it's Plushy  If he can learn to teach that....

(PS - non sequitor sorry, but did anyone see the Eurovision special where they showed him being part of Russia's entry one year? Only Plushy, really only Plushy - I even remembered it from the original competition, it was the first time I noticed him, it was.... memorable)

I have no idea whether Sasha will do well in her new coaching situation. She wanted a change, and best of luck to her, but I have no opinion on her previous or current coaching situation.

But I would not over-estimate the "internal competition" aspect. A determined and driven athlete does not need "competition" at their training rink to succeed. Exhibit A: Nathan Chen. :)

Since when? But you do know that there are FF thread's of junior skaters, where people discuss? Wasn't a problem so far, and now, all of a sudden it's "innapropriate" xD
In some countries you are a "minor" until you're 20, then i guess all forums and social media should be closed, so that nobody can talk about the youngs anymore....

It is innapropiate because the conversation is focusing on "this kid shouldn't have done this", "this kid would have done better", "this kid was thinking this", the conversation should be about the change itself, the possible positive and negative repercussions it will have on the skater's tecnique, programs, choreography, etc, it should be focused on the sport, the skating, not on what a kid is doing/thinking.

Aleksandra will need all her mental and emotional strength. And proper PR guidance and advice when facing the media for the first time.

Most agree she needs ‘images’ and ‘components’ since her jumping is well above par.

Aleksandra herself said “those who really love me, will never leave me”

Here comes our chance to put ourselves to the test.

You failed.
I just readed your lasts comments about this transfer.

I have been watching the ESC since 1987. In 2008 I sat in front of the TV and watched the broadcast. The next one is Russia. I looked at the guy in white shirt with Edvin Marton...and! suddenly appeared on the screen Evgeni Plushenko! I couldn't believe in my eyes I started shouting for my husband! He is Plushenko! He is! He was well-known for many people in Europe, he had great tour in many countries of Europe, he was the ambassador of Soch OG in 2017, etc. In that time many people said his popularity helped Bilan to win, many people voted to the production bc of him his effect was powerful in the performance.. I don't think that was his memorable production as a skater , (and he was really fat with a little belly  ) but on the other way it was! That was unique on that really small synthetic ice. He was mentioned in this lovely video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cv6tgnx6jTQ&t=3m30s "Love, love, peace, peace.... and a Russian man on skates".. Some days ago I posted a video about the after party at ESC in the fan thread. He was more happy as after Torino.

A group of skaters Plushenko and Trusova will begin training in Kislovodsk on June 1

https://rsport.ria.ru/20200524/1571915154.html

MOSCOW, May 24 - RIA Novosti, Anatoly Samokhvalov. Figure skating coach, two-time Olympic champion Evgeni Plushenko told RIA Novosti that his group, including two-time world junior champion Alexandra Trusova , will begin full training on June 1 at the training camp in Kislovodsk.
Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation Oleg Matytsin noted that the department has prepared a plan to restore the organized work of athletes in training centers since May 25. A part of the Russian national figure skating team will start a race at the Novogorsk base near Moscow on Sunday in order to resume the full-fledged training process from Monday. Also, the base in Kislovodsk will be involved in the training of skaters.
“Our team, together with Sasha Trusova, Veronika Zhilina, Sofia Titova and Cyril Sarnovsky, is going to a training camp in Kislovodsk,” Plushenko said over the phone. “I made an application to the federation, and the federation completed everything. We leave on June 1st.”
“I didn’t consider Novogorsk, because I know what Kislovodsk is. I spent a lot of time preparing for the Olympics. It’s a great base, and it’s in the mountains. With ice, with good conditions. It seems to me that this training is for my athletes will be a very strong help, "the specialist added.

It won't be relaxing at all. The athletes will be very tense because they will be very concerned that they will catch something afflicting the world. They are only human after all. Hoping and praying everyone stay safe but they are putting themselves at risk of coronavirus without question. So are the sports here in North America hockey and basketball that are coming back in June. You might say it's a form of Russian Roulette. Again I hope everyone stays safe. But some athletes will come down with coronavirus. it's bound to happen.

Well, as long as the same people, who are always involved in training, drive together in a private car in the fantastic surroundings and relax there in the wild, there can be no question of infection. Where there are no people, there is no virus.

The center of the Russian epidemic is Moscow. There are 2516 new cases there but Plushenko team will travel to Kislovodsk probably after testings. Kislovodsk is in Stavropol Territory. In this territory there are less than 100 people became ill. So maybe they will be in good place.

the text mentions some territories and the number of new cases but didn't mention Stavropol, " in other regions where new cases were detected, less than 100 people each became ill."

Yes.

From his oficial site: https://evgeni-plushenko.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6&p=78196&hilit=vodichka#p78196

Plushenko used this word in 2013 after his surgery and before Sochi...

"In May, we will go to the training camp in Kislovodsk, I'll jog, drink mineral water (he actually said like "little-water / vodichka" which is the diminutive of "water / voda". why is he so adorable..? srsly), shall clean the body, get some mountain air - our base is located at 1800 meters - there I'll start working on the floor, based on how this work will go, it will be possible to talk about timing the return to the ice."

and his first 3A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTGncuLYHGA end of July

That may be a good place to go but they should still practice social distancing for many months to come.

Sasha has to be chomping at the bit to get back to work. I'm sure she feels her best and happiest when she's on the ice and not trapped in some kind of quarantine or having the social distance from everybody in the public.
