Just like I suspected. It's not a bit about Titova. It's all about Plushenko. This forum is really one big soulstriptease.

Yes, and this is ridiculous. ( but I disagree about the forum. This forum is correct and nice compared to some Russians.)
I have seen hundreds of videos about his masterclasses. His haters can say that was his work but he could have held those lessons with less kindness, cuteness and fun. Plushy adores the children he is talking them with fun, patient , kind and sensibly. So cute!

With Irina Slutskaya's daughter.

If anyone thinks many of his fans or me are happy because of Trusova it's wrong. It would have been better if Sasha doesn't go to him. He would have grown up with Titova as a coach. But Sasha and her parents chose him this is their decision. These things come from his fame. And it seems he is on the target again after this switch on every way. And will be.

Dmitry Solovyev https://rsport.ria.ru/20200526/1572005334.html - Soloviev: Plushenko can give a coward impetus to development

Ari Zakarian https://sport24.ru/news/other/2020-...oy-tutberidze-plyushchenko-isu-skating-awards

-" I am aware of what is happening. We will follow, we will watch. Eteri is a respected trainer who managed to achieve very cool results. Zhenya is a super sportsman, and now he is a coach. But in order for something to happen, everyone must first go out onto the ice. For the competition to take place. There is no point in discussing something.

Plushenko is very purposeful and ambitious. Working with him for many years, I have repeatedly seen moments where he is eager for a result, and the result is powerful. But success also requires other factors - tolerance, coaching tactics, experience. There are a lot of components. He thoroughly trains only two seasons. What happens next depends only on him. Eugene is gifted, and he has a crazy capacity for work - I'm sure of that."

And this is so true Tarasova https://lenta.ru/articles/2020/05/19/tarasova_interview/ -

"Well, he just started working! Whom should he educate? He raised himself. This is an adult and a great champion who undertook to train a fantastic girl. We know that this girl knows how. Let's see how she will develop, whether she will have progress or regress ... I think that Zhenya is aware of what he is doing, he is not a stupid person. He took on a huge responsibility to the whole world. In his case - pan or disappeared. "

To be his fan an exciting journey we can be sad, happy, desperate, euphoric, mad, angry, confused, etc. But never bored. I said he is an inwardly free man.

But what can I say? After Trusova's switch... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_F9fOze24_E Show must go on!

Interesting comments to say the least. Not the best comments for Plushenko from what I understand.

Thanks you for the videos of Irinas daughter. Irina overcame an illness to become a great figure skater and a mother. Sweet!

A long interview with Sima, i google translated a tiny part of it
https://sport.business-gazeta.ru/article/255516

- A frequent change of trainers - is it a search for yourself, an ideal specialist?

- In each case, the transition had its own reasons. At the beginning of my career, I skated for eight years with Alina Yuryevna (Pisarenko - ed.). I am grateful to her for the efforts put into me, inculcated self-discipline, but it was necessary to go further. I saw only one option for myself - Eteri Georgievna Tutberidze. I wanted only to her, to no one else. In St. Petersburg, I did not see any specialists for myself, and in Moscow except Eteri Georgievna, too.

I saw how she communicates, works with her athletes in competitions and really wanted to work with her. She received me very warmly. I came to her group and sighed. Eteri Georgievna has completely different methods of work and it was much easier for me with her than with her first coach. In training, they can joke, laugh, tell a story. And do not scream for no reason. The first time I realized that in training there are not only tasks and analysis of errors, but maybe communication between the trainer and the athlete.

But fate decreed that I had to return to St. Petersburg. I didn’t want to, these were family circumstances. I can’t talk about them, but the situation was serious. Family for me is everything, it is for life. Figure skating is just a small piece of this life. I made such a choice and do not regret it. Of course, it was very bitter to leave. I called Eteri Georgievna and cried. But there was no other way.

Therefore,I returned to St. Petersburg, to my first coach. They say correctly - you will not enter the same river twice. It didn’t work out as I expected. At first everything was more or less normal, but then I realized why I left. When you are an adult, such a strange attitude is difficult to endure. I began to snap, not to trust. Failures have come. After the first start, I decided everything, that's enough. This is the end. A very ugly story happened that crossed out our relationship.

The only option I could go after this situation is Evgeny Vladimirovich (Rukavitsyn - ed.). He was at those starts, he saw what was happening there. He took pity and accepted me into the group, for which I am very grateful to him. But I couldn’t trust him. Neither the team nor him. This is probably my problem and mistake, but in life, apparently, everything should happen. The results were deplorable. How else? When you do not trust the trainer, his plan, advice about what result can be discussed. Such relations between the athlete and the coach as Yevgeny Vladimirovich were not close to me. I'm not used to it. Eteri Georgievna was very warm to me and when I felt cold I realized that I had to look for something else.

- Usually, on the contrary, it is customary to hear about Tutberidze that she has a cold and harsh approach to work, and Rukavitsyn has warm relations in the group. Will you explain?

- Eteri Georgievna can be strict. May scold. But this is always for a reason. When you work, when you are right - she will not say a word. A sincere and kind woman who will always support, will explain how to act not only on ice, but also in life. She is a mountain for her athletes. If someone messed up, she would always intercede.

There were sometimes strange jokes, at first it was uncomfortable. But this is definitely not from evil. Such jokes, on the contrary, defused the situation. She did not set out to insult, did not try to hurt someone’s feelings, she never reported to the whole group, but only motivated. It’s another thing to destroy morally - you definitely cannot say that about the Tutberidze group. Why should Eteri Georgievna change her coaching approaches if they work? Of course, everyone evaluates differently; not everyone likes it. But it was close to me. I know stories when people left her, and then realized that they incorrectly assessed the situations that arose at the rink. They would like to return, only the bridges are burnt.

Skating with Eteri Georgievna, I felt care and protection, which Yevgeny Vladimirovich (Rukavitsyn) did not have. They always told me that I’m bad, that I can’t do anything. It’s unpleasant when someone pushes you to another trainer and leaves you unattended. Nobody scolded, no one forced, but it made me worse. I saw what came out of this work - nothing came of it. Therefore, it was difficult to trust. This is probably my problem. Would work according to plan, everything would be better.

I knew it all along! Alina returns to the thrill of many and the dismay of many!

Well all along people were hoping that she would come back, I just think that many expected her not to. ANd I think recently she was in contact with someone with COVID (rumor) so maybe she is in quarantine?

Also, I noticed Adelina Sotnikova's retirement was added to the OP - Adelina was great but was her retirement really THIS past season?

And as for Trusova going to Plushy, I think changing coaches was the right decision but idk if Plush was. I don't doubt his ability and potential, just his inexperience. I hope Sasha doesn't become one of his "learning pawns" so to speak, like Tarakanova. I hope VOlkov and Rozanov will see that she isn't turned into a huge PR campaign and bashed in the media once a little thing doesn't go right

I really don't know whether I should laugh or try to break a wall with my forehead. :palmf::yahoo:

Here, my friends, you can see the crystal clear example of how misinterpreatations are created. That "person" was Tatiana Navka, with whom Alina was in personal contact several months ago, before it was even possible to get covid in Russia. Navka fell ill recently in may, incubation period in two weeks, so there are about three months between Alina's personal contact with Navka and the time Navka was infected.

Out of the incubation period in june the 2nd. Though, she will be tested at the entry as anyone else and then will wait in isolation till the test would turn negative. No need to be alarmed.

That's perhaps why she did not go to camp at the start with everyone else, I believe she met with this govt. official on her birthday, June 2nd would be 2 weeks from her birthday, which is the supposed incubation period of the disease. This really highlights why government officials (all of them not just Russian) need to stop with the unnecessary PR visits - there are some things that have to be done through the course of their jobs, hand-delivering flowers to an athlete for her birthday (regardless of who the athlete is) or attending a sports team practice, is not a necessary thing to do. People can't go to their places of worship and millions out of work because the govt. says they are 'non-essential' and don't need to be open to contain the spread of this disease. but government officials can do their fluffy PR things. Hopefully they keep the PR stuff away from a whole facility of athletes at camp where they are going to come into contact with people that are out in the general public (otherwise, just open up everyone's home rinks). Sorry back on topic....

Considering she is going to have to fly to Novogorsk and is known to have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, I'm sure she'll get tested prior to even getting on the plane. Additionally, based on what was reported initially when it was mentioned that they were going to open the facility up for training everyone was required to have 2 negative tests for the disease prior to being allowed to train.

It was not the official that visited Alina, it was she who attended a reception at the head of Udmurtia, Alexander Brechalov.

haha, probably these are fans from sports.ru, correct ;)

yes, it is risky in terms of all this hype, but Plushenko is such a character, definitely will not crumble.

And when they said that Sasha will regress, will not be winning, he is not the right coach for her, etc, the question that comes is was she not regressing yet this season with Eteri ? Apart from the GP and early season events, she was deteriorating and always 3rd on the major competitions, GPF, Rus Nats, Euros never able to surpass Anna nor Aliona. And at the end of her last junior season it was common opinion that she will be ruling out in seniors with all those quads...

I was afraid at the beginning of the season, even before Alena got those triple axels, that this was going to happen. When Alena scored 234 at Finlandia I just knew. I didn't quite expect Anna to beat her, I didn't expect her quads to be so consistent. But I really think that Sasha's time with Team Tutberidze was coming to a close anyways. Let's just hope the political bonus doesn't leave her like it did with some others.
