edit: for the Starlight Waltz, I mean.

Watching the Paso Doble now and Tkachenko/Kiliakov look good, but man, listening to My Heart Will Go On as a paso doble is an experience for sure!

Catching up on the FD now.

The Peals are SO ridiculously adorable. And at only 11 and 14, they show a ton of promise. They were on fire in the free! They missed winning the free skate by .01 point, so good for them. 4th overall.

Tkachenko/Kiliakov... they definitely won on the strength of their pattern dances. Their FS, while not bad, felt kind of awkward. I don't think they've grown into their bodies quite yet.

Karnes/Aksenov... a delightful couple. Really pleasant skate, g.o.r.g.e.o.u.s dress. I look forward to hopefully seeing them on the JGP circuit next year.

Lin/Sletten... a bit of a messy skate, but another promising couple. They really need a new costume designer though.

I think so. I found an article about them from last year saying they were 10 and 13 so hopefully that's accurate. I hope they move up. They're ready, IMO.
