Mia wasn´t so happy with her FS, but it was still plenty enough for a very secure win in this senior event. Congratulations with the gold With a total score of 149.57 there was plenty points down to silver with Marie Kolly 122.99 points.

This was a bit of a messy skate and the mistakes she made in the beginning of the program wasn´t up to her recent skates and she only got 45 points in TES which is low for her. As she is looking for WC minimum I totally understand why she is dissappoined. She did fall on her opening 3Lz and hit the boards, she did however land her 3F which she usually struggles with, but there was a step out. Then she popped her loop again!, and then her 3T popped into a 2T... So costly mistakes where made in the beginning on her easy elements....

She was quick enough to rearrange her program and add the combos on her salchows: The next jumps: 3S-2A-SEQ and then 3S-EU-2F which gave her over 15 points all together. She usually does the 2A sequence on the 3T and has one of the salchows as solo jump. And then a 2A-2T in the end. Quick thinking.
