I was only five points away from bronze!! if I’d put Lia in fifth instead of Amanda Tobin, which I almost did… I would’ve had gold!

Oh well, getting silver in men (and pairs) is still a major achievement in this field… thank you, Corey Circelli!

I always dread making predictions on Canadian skaters, because my go-to site for looking up skaters' past results, Rink Results, doesn't do Canadian domestic events. But a few days before the Canadian Championships, I discovered that Skating Scores does. The pages aren't as well laid out, but they do contain a lot of valuable information.

So, my thanks go to the compiler of that site. This turnaround in my fortunes with the Canadians wouldn't have been possible without their work.

And, of course, my thanks also go to @gsk8 for running the contest, and to @Weathergal for posting the results.

Bronze in Men & Pairs, Gold in Dance!! Wow Am I getting better at this? Probably not .. don’t know what happened in Women.. but this certainly lifts my midwinter spirits and tells me I know more about the Canadian skating scene than I thought. Congratulations to all medalists and thanks to those who compile these results..

Oooooo. Gold in Dance and that's a wrap for me. We're going to need a bigger podium for those dance winners!

Enjoyed the CA championships immensely. Looking/not looking forward to USNats & Euros being run at the same time. I'll be cross-eyed.
