That's because Canadians is the one competition where she is sure to make the podium. That isn't the case for the GP, 4CC and Worlds.

Mira may believe that the Canadian judges are giving her the 'right' marks and it is the ISU judges who aren't being fair to her. That's another reason why it is really not a good thing that Mira isn't getting dinged for URs at Nationals. She doesn't see URs as a problem for her, since the Canadian judges apparently don't. If she thinks it's not a problem, she won't fix it.

Hmm. I'm almost wondering whether she gets this idea she thinks she's way better than she actually is because of her relative success at CANs. I mean her idea of where she is in the world is really blown out of proportion: top eight, world champion in a couple more years, hopefully medaling at the Olympics. Where does she get these ideas from? Or is it her mom putting these things in her head?
