DeeDee Jonrowe's Hellish Year

Iditarod is less than 3 weeks away (and yes I'm gearing up for it!). You may or may not have heard about the fires in Alaska this past summer, they were bad, and it hit the "Sled Dog Capitol of the World" (aka Willow, Alaska). Long time Iditarod musher and fan favorite DeeDee Jonrowe and her husband lost EVERYTHING and then a month later she lost her mother to breast cancer. You wanna talk inspiring human being? Dee is one of them. I've met her a few times and while she may not be my absolute favorite musher, she is a fantastic person.
