Thank you! I tried copying and pasting into a word doc but couldnt get the scores to appear, so I just took screen shots and am using those. Very thoughtful of you to do this. I am trying to hear how Mako's last name is pronounced....I hear "yah MASH tah" with the a in mash being soft....

Not quite. "Ya" and "ta" are short, the "a" sounds more like "u" in "hut" or "but" (though to be honest I don't know how North Americans pronounce "hut." It would be the same in British English). I have a similar surname and it's a challenge for most non-Japanese speakers to pronounce.

Reported planning elements of FS (numbers following the starting order):

#1~16 https://twitter.com/SponichiF/status/1474577548067885057?s=20
#17~24 https://twitter.com/SponichiF/status/1474576104052891648?s=20
*Note: #18 Rion Sumiyoshi: has a 4T in the planned elements, and she reportedly landed one in the practice yesterday (not sure about rotation)
It's interesting that only Matsuike and Higuchi do 2 3/3 combo's out of all the top girls. The rest only do one.

There's also someone in the earlier groups doing a 3lz+3t, a 2a+3t, and a 3lz+2s for some reason. (3lz+2s vs. 3lz+2t+2lo base value?)

Who knew you could put in "Pronounce Yamashita" into google and get a vocal?

With my speech impediment, it it hard to say....
The brits have their own way...
The correct way is found at the 30 second point
This is interesting
Here are three different Japanese pronunciations. The first is how you said.

In English, there are two ways of pronouncing "Jerome" One has two sylibols and one has three.

Curiously, there are two different television stations covering the early rounds. One seems to have commentary while the other does not.

Unless somebody really young learns a bunch of quads during warmups, we will definitely know one new Olympian tonight.

I have gotten very little sleep over the past three days, but I'm prepared with coffee and chocolates! Good luck everyone!

I’m looking forward to watching Nana Araki in this first group. Also, Marin Honda will be fun to watch.

There's got to be a mistake of some sort.

A salchow jump doesn't even take off from the landing leg of a lutz jump.
