From what I could see on the tech box, Petrov got a very low score for his combo jump, like under 4 points. But the protocols will tell the story.

Just realised something about Sasha's score.

Was this the first time today that the score in the TES box actually went up from where it was at the end of the routine?

Because I was thinking "Wow, 37 points is a lot less than Shoma's near 47!" And when he got the scores, he was at 40.

So, there must have been a lot of positive GOE's added in!

EDIT: Ignore this. Just saw in another post that the TES box was at 41.29 at the end of the routine. They must have just been slower than usual putting in the points for the final element.

His 3A is low but gets +GEO for very difficult eagle entrance.

No doubt about Shoma's being the best overall, esp. PCS. The question is how he could have +6 in TES to Petrov with a low 3A and a shaky 3Lz.

He also did a 3f-3t vs. Adien's 3lo-3t but that's only a .2 difference.

Seemed like Boyang doubled his 3T. A shame, because the rest of the elements were nice. His arms look very sloppy after Sasha, but he did commit to his choreography.

Update from the rink:
-Shoma had a little trouble with lutz but still scored high
-Petrov has fire, axel is amazing but other jumps are quite low
-Pitkeev was nice but lacked energy in the end

Yes, 3rd place but just 1 point behind 2nd. Actually I like both Sasha and Adian but for me, Sasha was better today. Boyang on the ice now.

It means nothing. Adian has quad in FS, Petrov no. If Adian skates FS clean, he wlii be ahead Petrov.

Sorry but I will take example. Hanyu is doing way more difficult entrance to 3A which is higher, longer, better landing and transitions out of it. And if Shoma with eagle, low height, so-so landing is getting almost the same GOE as Hanyu, something is wrong here me thinks :scratch:
This is diffrent competition of course, but still this GOE is for me
