Here's a page I created in wikidpad to sort the lady participants of the upcoming "Championships of Russia".

And, how old are these girls? Will they compete in Juniors next years? If so, with these talents, Aoki, Higuchi and hopefully Proklova, the JGP is going to be super exciting!!

There's also Marin Honda... Aoki, Honda, and Higuchi are all practicing the 3A and quads and it's something the Russia Fed and coaches need to take seriously for 2018.

Well that was unexpected...

Medvedeva's SP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3oGqyju44E

She looked really tired...

Tsurskaya's SP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snHbyjwR1fk

Do skaters in Russia often use their last season's programs for their first year in the junior grand prix? Tsurskaya LP grew on me(with the costuming change), but that SP is disjointed with a hard music cut between two pieces of music that are hard to see related(though she's performing it well). I usually hate people who criticize dress/costume choices, but I don't think her's for the SP works well(ok but not great for the first half, not well for the 2nd). Considering Polina's atypical look, I think it will be very important for her to get a hand of things aesthetically.

Congratulations to Adian! I see him working on his expression a lot in the SP.

Liza Nugumanova seemed a little hesitant/focused on elements/stalking the jumps... which could be precisely why they didn't go off. But even hesitant Liza offers nice moments (that footwork!). Her flip and lutz definitely need more airtime, but it's best to develop a solid technique even if it doesn't lead to instant results.

I've never really seen Ekaterina Mitrofanova before, but she's very impressive. Her big, confident 2As really set her apart.

Zhenya and Polina really gave us two top-notch performances, considered that it's the end of the season and they've already done so many competitions! Tsurkaya's FS has really grown on me artistically, too. I can't wait to see her JGP debut :cheer2:

Yeah, Polina is incredibly strong. Sure her battle against Wakaba in the next season will be very interesting.

JGP debut for 2015-2016

Do we already know the names of the ladies (from Russia) that will debut?

Others can answer better than me, but the main one becoming age eligible for the first time is Tsurskaya - consensus is that she is the best of the Russian skaters becoming eligible for JGP in 2014-15.

I think there's a pretty good chance Proklova stays junior since this season was marred by injury recovery for her. We'll see about that, that is my opinion only.

There are also some lesser-known skaters who are already age-eligible in 2014-15 who are likely to stay on JGP (Iushenko, Kolomiets). Kolomiets wasn't able to make her JGP debut this year due to injury.

Two of the most buzzed-about skaters on the forum, Gubanova and Nugumanova, will not be eligible in 2015-16.

May debut at JGP-2015 (by age).
On results of Junior Nationals:
Polina Tsurskaya - 4th.
Alisa Fedichkina - 8th.
Valeria Mikhailova - 9th.
Ekaterina Mitrofanova - 11th.
Also Alina Solovieva, she was not at JrNats because of illness.
Next season will be their 1st Junior season by age.

Kolomiets competed at this season only once - early March 2015 "On Awards of StPetersburg Federation", was 27th in SP (singled jumps except 2A) and did not qualify to FS.
Will she skate and what will be results - nobody knows.

Iushenko probably will be at JGP. She progresses.
Proklova too.

May be also Kaiumova, Pervushkina.

Sotskova wants to move to Seniors and to compete at GP, but what will be solution of Federation - GP or JGP?

There will be Nationals Younger Age (19-23 Mar) and Elder Age (28-31 Mar), after these competitions situation will be more clear.

Yes they are for skaters younger than Junior. Guban/Nugum are listed to skate at the Younger age competition. You can view the preliminary list of the Younger age competition here: http://www.fskate.ru/results/tour/1330.html . Use Chrome to translate. Elder Age the preliminary list is still not complete but you can view it here: http://www.fskate.ru/results/tour/1331.html . Not sure if St. Petersburg has entered their skaters yet for Elder age.

Nationals Younger age - two age groups. This Season:
Elder - born at 2002 and 2003.
Younger - 2004 and younger.

Nationals Elder Age - two years younger than Juniors, i.e. reached 11 but not reached 17 at 01 Jul 2014.

Will Nugumanova and Gubanova take part?
Yes, they will take part in Nationals Younger Age, elder group.
Past season they also competed in elder group, Gubanova was 3rd, Nugumanova 4th, after Tsurskaya and Bezrukova (both born at 2001, so they can not compete this season being too old).

Elder Age the preliminary list is still not complete but you can view it here: http://www.fskate.ru/results/tour/1331.html . Not sure if St. Petersburg has entered their skaters yet for Elder age.
Nugumanova and Gubanova did not compete at "On Awards of StPetersburg Federation" - qualifying competition for Nationals Elder Age, probably they will not compete at Nationals Elder Age.

They both have good results of previous competitions - Junior Nationals, Gubanova also Final of Russian Cup, Nugumanova Final of Spartakiad. They do not need Nationals Elder Age to earn spot in National Team.
