Pitkeev was wondrous! Class act despite his age and looking even younger. I'd have him in first.

I like Pitkeev a lot, but I doubt his "grit" so to speak.

OK, he did his jumps well... but his spins need work, his choreography was "swingy" and not done right in a couple places, and finished way, way behind the music.

Yikes! :shocked: Thanks for the explanation, I, too, had no idea that's what it meant.

Well...he could have also hit concrete before he got on the ice causing him to loose an edge on his blades. I'm not watching so I really am just guessing here

I do know for a fact that unless it's a sand based rink which this 99.99 percent isn't...then there is concrete under the ice and they likely only have about 1in of ice. There may even be low spots and often where logos are at would be a prime spot for that to happen. Sometimes they dig those out with machine and then patch them back in.

If he keeps skating like that all year, I think we'll see his PCS keep going up to close the gap with his TES. He's already improved his PCS from Nebelhorn.
