Joseph Phan's superb skate starts at about the 35 minute mark. He's was already one of my favourite junior skaters, but this is a significant step up from last year.

Edrian: like the deep red shirt. Ouch, hard fall on the first jump. Another fall, third jump step. Another fall a bit later.

98.81 for the free, 160.90 total, into 6th.

poor edrian... that was harsh but happy to see he tried a 3a....

it will come...

nic was wonderful.. all he missed was the 2a combo.....
2 quads and 2 3a program.. i'd say that he is making a case for the skate canada spot...

I seriously have to go to bed soon if I have any chance of making it to the Senior Pairs LP (which is an hour earlier than the SP; who the heck scheduled this competition?! :scowl: ), but I HAD to tell you all that I was so THRILLED that Nic had kept his Elvis Presley LP from last season, and I was SCREAMING my head off several times during his performance (was my fangirl screech loud enough to be heard on the livestream? ). Seeing him perform this in person is SO MUCH BETTER than watching my PVR of his 2017 Nationals LP.

yup.. nic comes alive and needs to be seen live... it's definitely so much better..

good news... videos have bee archived online and i was able to catch up with most men...

i am still sad about my edrian gosh...

and i concur... and i have said it a million times : who the hell scheduled that competition????? that is why i am not there... too early... ACI is better...

There is only one way to fix a sleep pattern. Get up at the same time everyday no matter what. Eventually your body should self correct.

I kind of have a soft spot for some of the U.S. Pairs like Cain and Leduc or the one with the older female who came back to skating.

I think I just want Mervin to find a place where he can excel and if they don't get out on the GP it's hard to get a good rep.
