2022 Open d'Andorra

The 2022 Open d'Andorra is an international competition which will take place Nov 16-20, 2022, in Canillo, Andorra. The event will feature competitors in the Novice, Junior, and Senior divisions for the Singles and Ice dance disciplines. The competition and will be conducted in accordance with the 2022 ISU Constitution and General Regulations, the 2022 Special Regulations and Technical Rules for Single, Pairs Skating, and Ice Dance, as well as all relevant ISU Communications.

It looks like the senior ladies event will not give WS points Only 6 skaters from 3 different countries, and I suspect there could be WD Should be enough for minimums though, as long as there is minimum 2 skaters from 2 different ISU countries. 4 of the skaters are from Spain, so they will kinda depend on that Mariia and Mia Caroline won´t WD. But i´m pretty sure Mia is planning to go, because she will be looking for the WC minimum now.

Oh dear, Maria Seniuk is out of the senior women, and now there are only the Spanish skaters and Mia Caroline and there won´t even be a full warm up group. Senior ID even worse, only two pairs. It should just barely be enough to collect minimums as long as the judging panel will follow the regulations, and it does. The only senior event that will be giving WS points now is the men, but they will also depend on that it won´t be many WD.

I´m wondering if they did change the time schedule. The senior women will be skating last on Saturday now, as late as 22.30. I thought they were scheduled earlier on Saturday before.

What was the minimum of participants/countries that WS/EC/4CC minimum TES can be reached? It has been told on this forum several times, but difficult to find because the search gives so massive amount of hits. I don't remember. Only thing I can remember it must be an international ISU competition or at least open ISU competition. I suppose for example Nordics is open just because of it.

At least 2 skaters from 2 different ISU countries for minimums. Both senior ladies and senior ID just barely make the requirements!

About the judges: At least 5 (ISU?) judges and the technical controller and specialist can´t be from the same country or something. Judging panel looks good here.
