What kinds of off-ice training do elite skaters do on a daily or weekly basis?

Everything I find online is extremely vague, or is a small clip in a video about a skater's training regimen that doesn't really show much of their off-ice work.

One of my goals for this year is to incorporate more off-ice work into my training, including stretching, strength training, and dance. Looking for some inspiration, any tips are much appreciated, especially since I'm pretty new to skating.

Ballet and/or jazz/modern dance, personsl trainer for strength training, stretching coach.
Most also see a chiropractor relatively frequently. During peak training, probably at least once a week.
Some also do pilates.

Many also incorporate some cardio- running or so on. Lots of stretching, strength training, and some dance as mentioned above.

My kids do a combo of ballet, cardo, stretching and pilates. They arent elite skaters but my son has been to sectionals the past 4 years and my daughter has been an alternate. They do roughly 6 to 8 hours a week in off ice. They also either do a chiropractor or a massage person for body work.

Skating specific off-ice training is needed also. Jump twitches, jumps in and out of harness, spins on a spinner....Need a coach with expertise in this ...

You could try Figure Skating Fitness magazine if you want some inspiration on how to mix it up. You can get back issues and hard or soft copies of the issues.

Probably want to let your coach know what your are doing so they are in the loop.

For new skaters - work with your coach/a specialist off ice coach on alignment, off ice jumps, spinner, etc. Go do a beginning ballet class once a week. Do something like a crossfit class or a personal trainer for strength and core.
