Samarin - first total place, score 200+. Not very clean FS - quad jump fall, 1A instead of 3A.

Third - Samoilov.
4th - Erokhov, no 3A.

Wow! Now we know why Khachaturyan and Bagin don't have a JGP event yet. They look very slow and stiff and don't appear to have improved at all since last year.

Kostornaya is really impressing! Huge Jumps, especially the 2A! She looks quite capable to have a try on 3A.
And she also has outstanding skating skills comparing to other Russian girls. Her spins are also quite good.
The Russian wonder girl factory just seems unstoppable!

I'm very excited for Kostornaya. Her jumps are huge! Does anyone know if she is ellegible for JGP next year? Kostornaya, Gubanova and Nugumanova would dominate along with Tsurskaya (I assume (and hope!) that Sakhanovich and Sotskova are going senior next year).

No, she is not eligible. Her birthday is I think in August. She will be eligible for 2017-2018.
