Petr may have fallen at the start, but after that he was very good.

He'll definitely go ahead of Martin, and I have a feeling he might go ahead of Jiri as well.

Oh, he's on his own because he's with Fajfr as well.

Nope, Petr doesn't get ahead of Jiri. It's 3rd overall for him (so just ahead of Martin).

The clock stopped at 5m 08s. I thought the FS was supposed to be 4m 50s plus/minus 10 seconds.

Does this mean he is going to get a time deduction?

It was all going so well for Michal. I thought he was finally going to do a programme without falling.

And then he fell about halfway through the programme. And then another about 2/3rds in.

Still think he'll take the lead, and hence the Czech title.

But, he could be leaving the door open for Igor for the overall title.

Nope. He only got 2 deductions, so just penalised for the falls.

That means that his FS was 38 seconds shorter than Brezina's. That's a big difference.

Well, it's safe to say that Gala won't be troubling the leaders.

I'm sorry. The fairytale double at your first attempt was just not meant to be.

But, my fingers are crossed that you can at least salvage the Polish title.

Ok, I think it's safe to say that nor Krzysztof nether Igor has much mental strength...

2[SUP]nd[/SUP] overall, so the Ukrainian did win the Polish title!



Ah, Myzyk got the Polish silver medal with 4[SUP]th[/SUP] overall. I had forgotten about him. And then Gala got the bronze with 7[SUP]th[/SUP] overall.

Martin Bidar finished 4[SUP]th[/SUP] in the Czech Championship, with 6[SUP]th[/SUP] overall.

Didn't see who won the Hungarian and Slovak Championships. The table was not up on screen long enough.

Results page updated. The Swedish skater (Michal NEUMAN) won the Slovak Championship with 8[SUP]th[/SUP] overall!

And Alexander MASZLJANKO won the Hungarian Championship with 9[SUP]th[/SUP] Overall!

Junior Ice Dance was first.

The wee girls carrying the medals, flowers, etc were entertaining.

When waiting to walk into position, the smallest one started making faces to the camera!

Then, when they did walk into position, the smallest one was the only one that realised that there were marks where they were supposed to stand. So, there was a big gap between her and the others. So, she hit the girl beside her in the arm, and pointed to the spot. And then this second girl told the next one along, and so on.

Then the announcer started saying the wrong names for the silver medallists, and had to correct herself.

And then they started playing the Czech anthem before the announcer started to introduce it. So, the tape had to be stopped after a couple of notes.

I have to say, I am impressed with the set up they have for the podium ceremony. At most competitions (even the GP's) you just get a narrow carpet and 3 glorified crates. But this is a VERY professional looking setup! Hey, it even has trees!

Not sure what this ceremony is. It's the Junior Ice Dancers again.

I thought it might have been the podium for one of the National Championships, but it is the overall Top 3 again.

So, I don't know!

Senior Men again. But, it's not the same skaters as we saw earlier.

This time we have the following skaters:

1. Belohradsky (3[SUP]rd[/SUP] overall, 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] Czech)
2. Kotlarik (5[SUP]th[/SUP] overall, 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] Czech)
3. Bidar (6[SUP]th[/SUP] overall, 4[SUP]th[/SUP] Czech)
