Haven/Brandon recently did perform in a holiday ice show in Colorado.

Photos from the show are in their fan thread. Maybe even a little snippet of video (I think it's there, but am not 100% certain).

That said, I don't know for sure whether they are competing.

Interestingly, just yesterday Brandon posted additional photos on Instagram that were from their Dec performance at the ice show.

I wonder whether the timing of his new Instagram was only coincidental ... or whether he purposely wanted to give a reminder that they are capable at the very least of performing in public.
In any case, I am not saying that it is confirmation that they are competing at Nats.

(BTW, I verified yesterday that the video snippet I mentioned earlier really was posted in their fan thread.)

Question for Doris:

Are you thinking that one thread for both the SP and FS is sufficient?
If so, please let us know.
My two cents are that one thread probably will be sufficient for both the SP and FS.
The Junior Pairs SP thread generated only two pages of discussion (and the Junior Pairs FS already is well underway), but people seemed to be confused that the FS did not have its own thread.
Thanks as always for wrangling dozens of comp threads simultaneously.​

Good question. Liu/Johnson were still listed on the practice groups PDF that is date-stamped Jan 15.

To recap my posts in the predictions thread:
A couple of days ago, Jessica Calalang posted on Twitter and Instagram that Zack and she will miss Haven/Brandon at Nats.
Brandon and Haven both promptly replied (I'm paraphrasing) that they will miss being there and that they are excited to watch. They both sounded upbeat to me.
Haven/Brandon were able to skate in the holiday shows in Telluride in Dec, so I hope it is just a matter of time before they are ready to compete again.

The short program draw does look a little like the battle for spot #2 leans in favor of Kayne and O'shea but on the other hand, Castelli and Tran are big time short program skaters and they have a chance to set the bar for the evening and put pressure on Tarah and Daniel.

Errrrggghhhh I am SO EXCITED!!! I don't even care about all but two of these pairs (K/O and A/S) but I'm still super excited!

And this time I won't be on a two-hour-late plane freaking out about whether I could get to the ladies SP and trying to use plane wifi to update the results! (This happened last time because I was going to nationals and I flew out that day, lol.)

Now that we have Start Orders, does anybody know where the Warm-ups are going to be positioned?

Given that there are 13 entries, we could have:

3 groups of 3 couples, and 1 group of 4 couples
2 groups of 4 couples, and 1 group of 5 couples

I'm just asking, because I want to update the tables in the Original Post of the Predictions Thread, and I like having them divided up into the groups.

(By the way, you still have 2 hours until the target time to get your predictions in, and 3 hours until the first SP starts. So, there is still plenty of time to join in).
