Brilliant skate from Lu/Mitrofanov--very promising pair for Jr. Worlds!

Yes, very nice skate from them. A bit disappointing from others, I'm afraid... I had really high hopes for Kopmar/Barrett and Lockley/Prochnow but very messy skates from both pairs. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that Kopmar is sick or something; she seemed really not okay during and after their skate.

Agree, not sure who will be the #2 team at Jr. Worlds. Although Feng/Nyman would have gone over 100 without that unfortunate fall on the entrance to the throw. They have good basic SS as well.

Will last year's junior champions be skating at the senior level, and are they age-eligible to go to Junior Worlds again?

Also, someone PLEASE tell me Mitrofanov is eligible to skate internationally for the U.S. That is the most promising junior pair I've seen in...well...:agree:

Mitrofanov (and Lu) has already competed in the JGP last season and this season so he should be eligible. :)
