I just really liked both since juniors, and I always thought Popov had lower center of mass unlike most Russian skaters who are longer in the leg and willowy.
Seriously, don't bother. It's just my bird brain. They come on the ice and at first sight, I don't know who is who - but I will. I've managed the other three, so there's hope.
Congrats to the medalists! 👏👏👏

I keep my fingers crossed that Artur has a smashing next season. 🤞🤞🤞
Same! I actually saw him live in ScCan once, which makes him one of very few Russian men I managed to catch, so I root for him 2x harder!

Dmitriev, you've got a new fan!
He's Dimitriev. One extra "i" in the last name. 🤭
An ancient form of the name Dmitri, Old Slavonic - Dimitriy.

Very happy for Arseniy, I've been following this guy for a long time. Glad for the positive changes. I can't say anything concrete yet, but I'm waiting for good news about Arseniy to be published. 🤞🤞

I'm glad I watched the intermediate novices - good to know for whom to keep an eye out in future

Congrats to the medalists. Ermakov was brill, Shpilkov was unlucky but you can see the potential.
