This season there's no official Youtube stream. Replays are uploaded on this channel after a competition is over. There are two ways to watch the official broadcast:
1) Channel One website. The website is blocked in some countries by local providers. You can use Dutch VPN if you are from Europe, or Canadian VPN if you are from the USA to avoid the block.
2) VLC media player. Open this link: https://1tv-live-gcore.servicecdn.ru/dash-live3/streams/sport-1/sport-1.mpd via the player. This option is preferable because the broadcast quality will be better.

Nice to see Yablokov on the list!
And I hope to be able to watch the men's events this year still at home, not on a train. It's always a bit difficult with events being so close to christmas.

Do you know more about Lutfullin's free skate music? It's not really "once upon a time", is it? Wasn't there Sting's "what could have been?" in it? I think there were several songs and I thought they were from the Arcane-soundtrack? Not that I've watched that series, just tried to find out, because I like that Sting song so much. Do I misremember or mix it all up?

I'm still filling in the music. "Once upon a time..." is last year's program, I've already corrected it.

We actually have a prediction contest for this! I dunno. I feel like I will score zero!

I'm pretty sure the favourites in women's and dance will win, and in pairs it's between two teams.
But men's... it is so wide open.
Gumennik is the favourite to me, but only by so little.
There are like 10 guys who can win this.

Predicting here is a true Russian roulette.. even more than in previous years, IMHO, because this year we had quite a few rising stars added to the mix... it's also probably for the first time I'm more excited about men's event than women's event..

Andrei Mozalev, an Olympic participant from the Russian national team, has changed the music for the short program ahead of the Russian Figure Skating Championships, "SE" has learned.

The content of the program will remain the same, but its character will become less minor and more mobile, the source described the change. The new music is an instrumental cover of one of the tracks by the cult British band Prodigy.

Is something known about the reasons?

Finnish? I didn't even know about it.

I saw a lot of criticism about Andrei's programs and costumes this season. That the idea is too complicated.

I also found the spiritual foundation of the programs "too much" to be invested or interested in, but it didn't keep me from enjoying the skating, so I wouldn't have thought it to be a problem.

That does not really align with what I think.
If Dikidzhi wins I will be depressed. That's pure jumping on ice, not figure skating.
I would rate Vetlugin's chances much lower, although I like him so much. But his bv already isn't high, and he hasn't been so stable.
Samsonov is possible but would be a real surprise for me. Kondratiuk - I don't really get why he's rated so high (in the predictions as well). Sure, he has shown he can win it, but this season his performances weren't great. He would need a real improvement from that. Aliev on the other hand is someone I would rate higher. Yes, he's super inconsistent, but I give him actual chances.

Because the band is Finnish?
I couldn't see anything in the program to critisize.
Prodigy is not from Moscow either :)
Of course, that's not the point, it's just that the music and the program were called boring, tense, depressing, unattractive.

The audience is interested in robots to clap along to. Experiments are not welcome.
It's actually not so bad, the new music will be even more interesting and there won't be as many complaints about it.
