The 2024 Summer Olympics, also known as Paris 2024, is an upcoming international multi-sport event scheduled to take place from 26 July to 11 August 2024 in Paris, France, as the main host city. Events will take place across metropolitan France, plus one subsite in Tahiti—an island within the French overseas country and overseas collectivity of French Polynesia.

Here's the beautiful story from Gabriella Papadakis, Ice Dance OGM, the first French athlete to receive the flame from the Greeks in Olympia to carry it forward to Paris. As most of you know, Gabriela is half Greek herself so there is some very special symbolism to that moment when France met Greece and Winter OG met Summer OG as Gabriella received and caried the Olympic flame.
