That is a sizeable lead by Han Yan despite a fall and a 1 1/2 minute break during the program.
His music stopped right before the combo jump. Good thing they let him reset up instead of having him start at exactly where he stopped. He is a quality skater and this is a good experience.
I looooved Fedorova/Miroshkin!! How old is she? She needs to grow up a bit, they look a bit awkward together but boy, they know how to skate to the music. Who is their coach?
Oh, I adore these kids! Lina is such a star, so tiny but so charismatic! Their coaches and choreographers did a great job, it's not easy to make a good programm for a couple with height difference like theirs, but this LP is brilliant!Fedorova/Miroshkin have more choreography than the rest of the teams in their warm up group combined. They're also the first to use the music really well, IMO. Fun team to watch and I'll look forward to seeing them develop. Deserved score.
I liked S/H today very much, nice programm and impressive elements, but please, please, anybody, explain the girl what the edges are for! She is not skating at all, only running.Sui/han with a new PB and a clean 4Tw - very impressive skate - but the lack of unison and sloppiness, are for me personally still very glaring and distracting.
I'm sure they will, they are listed to compete, their debut in Austria was impressive and only Krutskikh/Morozov who were only 6th in Riga with much lower scores are listed as alternatesLS, will they be in Tallinn? They certainly deserve a second assignment! It's unfortunate that they didn't compete in Latvia or Poland where the field was a lot weaker.
I'm baffled why they haven't taught her decent basic skating skills because the Chinese singles have improved a lot.I liked S/H today very much, nice programm and impressive elements, but please, please, anybody, explain the girl what the edges are for! She is not skating at all, only running.
