Robin was 52 when she died in 2008. She has been and will continue to be missed. Robin was a wonderful poster in our community and well-versed in skating. She was a talented dancer and also authored the book "Diet for Dancers: A Complete Guide to Nutrition and Weight Control." May she rest in peace.

Robin was a cherished member of the Golden Skate family from way, way back in the beginning, long before the move to our current platform. She specialized in l-o-o-ng insightful posts, alternating between scholarly analysis and a wicked wit. She had been a dancer with a profession repertory and touring company based in Salt Lake City and lived a full life in spite of being overtaken later by chronic illness.

Besides the still-classic Diet for Dancers she also authored a shorter book, Conditioning: Training Techniques for Dancers and Other Poets in Motion. In addition, she was active in New York writers-for-fun circles, winning a number of prizes for her short stories.

Altogether, a person of substance and sharp-edged charm.
